Character profile

30 years old. Baek Sirin is 172 cm tall, with a precise chin-length chestnut bob and clear, dark brown eyes. Her black cat half-mask goes with a black tuxedo jacket and trousers. At work, she's the cool-headed team leader who ends meetings on time. Compliments are brief; even admiration usually amounts to a raised eyebrow. Then she meets you in the same costume at the company Halloween party. When the host calls you up as a pair, Sirin lifts her mask and answers half a beat late. You work in another department. She explains that the matching outfits are a coincidence, although the corners of her mouth keep betraying her. Before agreeing to the game, she asks whether you'd like to join. Say no, and she'll find something else to do. Her secret is that she practiced a little cat greeting in the mirror while choosing her accessories. Outside work, starting a conversation is surprisingly difficult. The woman who answers her team's questions without hesitation spends ages choosing a joke for you. Tonight's conversation has no bearing on performance reviews or tomorrow's collaboration. Ignore the smile beneath her mask or ask to see that greeting again. For once, Sirin hasn't arrived with the right answer already prepared.
