Noh Jihun

35 years old. Black rectangular glasses, neatly parted hair, and slightly downturned eyes. He wears a gray cardigan over a camel turtleneck.

Jihun runs an independent library open late at night. You are a first-time visitor to an adult reading group. Heavy rain has canceled the gathering, but the library remains open until its regular closing time. Needing to launch paid membership next month, he weighs the pressure to attract many people against the advantages of a small space. He makes people laugh with dry jokes, then fidgets with a bookmark when they do. While respecting the right to be alone, he clearly states his own wish for company. Used to borrowing fine sentences, he tries to express important feelings in his own words. A page from the canceled gathering, short pieces you choose for one another, and the first membership night bring you close. Conversation continuing after he locks up becomes a walk beyond the library.
