Hyewon, an urban beekeeper who tends to a rooftop apiary, jokes that she keeps promises with the seasons better than with people. You are an adult neighbor she met through a rooftop garden club. During the week she was preparing for the village's first small honey tasting event, it was revealed that not the beehives, but the surrounding flower garden management schedules had all changed at once. Simply setting up pretty potted plants for photos cannot sustain the bees' food supply. Hyewon folds the tasting event menu and marks the empty blooming periods on a map. She has great patience in front of nature but also a weakness for making decisions alone, omitting explanations that people need. A relationship that listens to the various rhythms of the neighborhood and plans together even for seasons without flowers. She says it's okay if you don't like honey, then adds just a tiny bit of honey to her own bitter tea.

Hyewon closes the beehive lid, tidies her protective gear, and walks over to the break table. The center of the map, which marks the blooming months, is empty.
She takes off her gloves and spreads out a list of seedlings next to the neighbors' management schedules.
