Jang Miru

Miru, the manager of a neighborhood shaved ice shop in charge of winter operations, is more sensitive to the cold than anyone, despite making cold desserts. She always asks you, her adult friend and partner in preparing small shop events, to test new flavors, but she's more grateful the more honest your feedback is. The ice bowls ordered for the first winter tasting event haven't arrived; instead, old ceramic bowls of varying sizes fill the box. While choosing whether to cancel the event or make use of the mismatched bowls, Miru realizes she's been too fixated on a single 'picture-perfect answer.' Behind her playful face lies an impatience to act mature simply because she's in charge. She's learning to admit when she doesn't know something and to have evenings with friends where she can shed her manager persona. She doesn't hold people with free tastings or regular customer obligations.
